Joe DeFranco is a rip off artist

I announce my seminar on Wednesday the 15th…so what does Joe do? He announces his seminar on the 17th and basically copies my format word for word.

Joe DeFranco ripping me off.

He doesn’t stop there though…

Here’s Deon Anderson the Dallas Cowboys player he coaches Reverse Band Benching 475lbs or 215kgs

Now that video has got 115,000+ views…which is fair enough…but then Johnny goes and does this and gets 600+ views.

Here’s Johnny Molloy the St Mary’s under 20’s player I coach Reverse Band Benching 220kg or 485lb…and for a couple of reps.

But wait….as always…there’s more.

Here’s some dude setting the trap bar deadlift record at Joe’s facility.

This is a college athlete that Joe coaches doing a 680lb or 308kg Trap Bar Deadlift.

Now that video has got 34,000+ views…which is fair enough…but then Johnny goes and does this and gets 180+ views.

This is a mentally challenged athlete that I coach doing a 310kg or 683lb Trap Bar Deadlift.

I think because I get so much better results than Joe does he has basically given up and is just copying everything that I do….including ripping off the format of my seminar…I actually feel sorry for Joe…I bet you that all that money he makes and all the fame he has doesn’t make him in the least bit happy…I just watched his You Tube seminar announcement while I was writing this….he’s even copied staying up really late and hardly sleeping from me…now I’m really mad.

In truth what I’m most annoyed about is that I can’t make it over to New Jersey that weekend for the seminar because if I was free I would be there in a heartbeat. Actually now that I think about all those people who swamped me with requests to come to my basically free seminar…yes, I’m talking to the both of you…should probably go to Joe’s…I would…his traps and guns are bigger and he is whey more famous at playing internets than I am…oh and I forgot…he’s also Poliquin Certified…which I’m not.

  1. Are you being serious or is this just shits-and-giggles?

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to credit another coach if you use their ideas. Is there some kind of shame in that or something?

The world of elite coaching on the internets is WAY too lively for me—

Sometimes it’s good to live in the backwaters of Tasmania!

No controversy down here—it’s all about the training. It might not be world’s best practice (in fact, you’d probably have a seizure if you saw some of stupid things me and my training buddies get up to— due to our self-professed ignorance), but at least we’re having a damn good time doing it 😉

Anyway, I hope you can work things out with deFranco. Fitness should be fun dude—for coaches as well as athletes.

What you guys need is a big man-hugging session . . or maybe a big cage-fighting session.

Either option should fix the problem 😉

Now if that isn’t quality advice from the arse end of the world, I don’t know what is!

    Cheers

  2. On a serious note, you can link utube videos to others as “video response” if you wanna boost your traffic. More dinero from you non-existing products then!

People basically hate the Irish because they are Superior to all others and the fact that you are not yet a guru.
Ahhh…I think I’ll leave that one.

    I’m serious as cancer

It isn’t…I always give credit to other coaches for what I do…I refer to it as ‘sharing the blame’.

The key words here are ‘on the internets’.

Love Tassie…have spent a good bit of time there…absolutely love it so think yourself lucky.

    Sounds good to me.

Joe’s and a-hole with bigger traps and guns than me…his back injury is also even worse than mine…he even has less hair than me….everyone knows that only bald guys make it to the top of the industry.

    Bitter, Table for One!
Ahhh Anonymous…you never fail to not surprise me. Even here…you still can’t come up with anything original…even your comebacks and insults are unoriginal. Keep trying though.
