It is actually starting to feel like summer now

Nothing like rowing on a see of asphalt to brighten your day.

A photo of the two things I love…no…not that idiot…my bike and my CII’s.

Andy Smyth tested today…Andy had been struggling to put weight on for ages…any way…I won’t go on…here are the results:

  1. I’ve just realised how hard it is to search the blog for details…
Exactly 🙂 I have yet to find the answer to my box squat question.

  2. That’s only because I sent you off looking for something that wasn’t there…I did go back a day later and answer your question though.

  3. His inverted rows doubled but he lost 2 pullups?

    Did you expect that?
Actually I expected him to get 8 reps. You should try it…work out what your max is and then next week slap an x-vest on with 15lbs and see how many reps you lose.
I would say that in 6 weeks time when he becomes more accustomed with his body weight he’ll be getting 12 again.

  4. Found it, thanks Will. A follow up question, what’s your take on pausing on the box? I can’t access the ‘tube from work, but seem to remember that atleast on that one video which originated my question there was no pause.

We do both…we ‘touch and go’ as well as ‘pause and go’. You’ll see we do the same thing with a lot of our movements…like floor presses…a touch and go or a 2-3 second pause and go.
